Privacy Policy for MisTap

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application "MisTap" (the "App"), published by tessbuilds, handles your information.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be specific about what MisTap does not do:

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier.
• We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising ID).
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect your IP address.
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
• We do not have user accounts, sign-in, or registration.
• We do not include analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, etc.).
• We do not include advertising SDKs (no AdMob, no Meta Audience Network, etc.).
• We do not include attribution or tracking SDKs.
• We do not share data with any third party because we do not collect data to share.
• We do not sell data to any third party.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

MisTap stores the following information only on your device, using Apple's standard local storage (SwiftData and UserDefaults):

• Your game progress: high scores per mode, current armor unlock status, total runs.
• Your settings: haptic feedback on/off, sound on/off, colorblind mode on/off, onboarding completion status.
• Your Daily Challenge history.

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the App, this data is deleted with it.

3. iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Apple's iCloud may sync your App data between your own devices. This sync is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to data synced through iCloud.

4. Children's Privacy

MisTap is suitable for users of all ages, including children under 13. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ in the App Store.

5. Permissions

MisTap does not request access to:

• Your camera, microphone, photo library, or contacts
• Your location
• Your notifications (push notifications are not used)
• Your motion data
• Your health data
• Your Bluetooth or local network

The App uses only the standard iOS sandboxed local storage available to every iOS app.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy in a future version of the App, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page and update the version of the App in the App Store. We encourage you to check this page from time to time for updates.
