1. Information We Collect
StackReady collects minimal data necessary to provide the service:
- Practice sessions — your questions, answers, scores, and session history are stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
- Voice input — when you use voice answers, audio is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition framework on-device. We do not store audio recordings.
- Subscription status — managed by Apple's StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment information.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide StackReady's features:
- Generating interview questions via the Claude AI API (Anthropic)
- Grading your answers and providing feedback
- Displaying your progress history and score trends
Your answers are sent to our secure backend API, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data. Visit anthropic.com/privacy for details.
3. Data Storage
All session history, scores, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
4. Third-Party Services

5. Children's Privacy
StackReady is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
