Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using LittlePath, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of LittlePath on iOS.

These terms are between you and tessbuild ("we", "us", "our"). Questions? Email support@tessbuild.com.

2. Who can use LittlePath

LittlePath is intended for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers of young children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. By creating a child profile, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child, or have appropriate authorization to manage their information.

The app is designed to be operated by adults on behalf of children — it is not intended for direct use by children under 13.

3. Not a medical service

The content in LittlePath is not a substitute for:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Psychological or behavioral therapy
• Consultation with a pediatrician, child psychologist, therapist, or other qualified professional

If your child is experiencing significant behavioral, developmental, emotional, or health challenges, please consult a qualified professional. LittlePath is a supportive tool, not a clinical intervention.

4. AI-generated content

LittlePath uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate personalized behavior scripts and activity step adaptations. AI-generated content:

• Is for informational and educational purposes only
• May not be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every child or situation
• Should be reviewed by you before use and adapted to your family's circumstances
• Is not a substitute for professional guidance

We make no warranties about the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose. You use it at your own discretion.

5. In-app purchases and subscriptions

LittlePath offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) that unlock premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID at the rate shown at purchase confirmation
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: Manage or cancel anytime in Apple ID settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions)
• Free trial: If a trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before it ends
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple — we cannot issue refunds directly

6. Permitted use

You may use LittlePath for personal, non-commercial parenting support. You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Circumvent the premium subscription system
• Represent that LittlePath is a medical or therapeutic service

7. Intellectual property

LittlePath and all content within it — including behavior scripts, activity library, ranking algorithms, UI design, and brand assets — are owned by tessbuild and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of LittlePath without written permission.

AI-generated content produced within the app at your request is generated on your behalf for your personal use.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

LittlePath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. tessbuild does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of LittlePath is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, tessbuild shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LittlePath. This includes reliance on any content, guidance, or AI-generated output from the app, or loss of data stored in the app.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding it.

10. Privacy

Your use of LittlePath is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of LittlePath after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
