๐ The short version: Calma stores all your data on your device. We collect nothing. We sell nothing. There are no accounts, no servers, no tracking.
1. Who we are
Calma is an iOS app developed by tessbuilds, an independent developer. You can reach us at support@tessbuilds.com.
2. What data Calma collects
Calma collects no personal data on our servers. All information you enter into the app โ mood scores, journal notes, check-in timestamps, streaks โ is stored exclusively in your device's local storage (Core Data) and never leaves your iPhone.
We do not collect:
- Your name or email address
- Your mood logs or journal entries
- Your location
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Any biometric or health data
3. Notifications
If you enable daily check-in reminders, Calma uses iOS's local notification system. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. We do not use push notification servers and have no visibility into whether notifications are delivered or opened.
4. Third-party services
Calma does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or any other data broker in this app.
The App Store (Apple) has its own privacy practices for app downloads. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how the App Store handles data.
5. Children's privacy
Calma is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us and we will provide guidance.
6. Data deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all Calma data at any time by deleting the app from your iPhone. No data exists on our servers to request deletion of.
7. Medical disclaimer
Calma is not a medical or mental health service. It is designed for personal reflection and general wellness only. Calma does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or emergency services immediately.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
