Privacy Policy

Overview

tessbuild builds small, focused iOS apps. This privacy policy applies to all apps published under the tessbuild name, including Calma, DeskFit AI, and StackReady.

The short version: we collect as little data as possible, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Information We Collect

Our apps are designed to work primarily on-device. Depending on the app, we may collect:

• Data you enter directly — such as mood logs, workout preferences, or interview practice responses. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• AI-generated content requests — apps that use AI features (DeskFit AI, StackReady, Calma) send your input to the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate responses. This data is processed by Anthropic and subject to their privacy policy.
• Purchase information — if you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
• We do not use advertising SDKs or track you across apps
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing
• We do not use analytics tools that track individual behavior

Third-Party Services

Our apps integrate with the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — used to generate AI responses in DeskFit AI, StackReady, and Calma. Input you provide to AI features is sent to Anthropic's servers. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — handles all in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not process payments directly.

Data Storage & Security

All personal data you enter into our apps is stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (SwiftData / UserDefaults). We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

If you delete an app, all locally stored data is removed from your device.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
